Update 1.2
Hey folks! Just added a major change to Project NOAH, primarily regarding combat encounters!
- Added a New Combat template based on the Deathmatch template
- Removed the sitrep-specific templates
- These actually proved to be a bit of a footgun, as I could not easily make changes to one template without having to change things in all of the others
- Added the ability to have OpFors for a variable number of players
- Tag enemies with For X Players in all the player counts you want them to appear in
- Super handy for multiple versions of the same enemy (e.g. Elites to Elite Veterans)
- Added a sitrep tag property to combat encounters
- Added a sitrep toggle header in the New Combat template for details on the sitrep itself
- Added the missing Optional Features property to the New Combat template
Now, I realize that as this project gets updated and more and more changes get implemented, it may become somewhat unclear as to how you can get the latest changes. There are two ways to accomplish this:
- Mark the old project as Legacy, duplicate the template anew, and migrate your changes
- Make the changes to your project directly
I will be releasing a tutorial on how to do this for 1.2 soon. For now, it may be early enough in your project that you can feasibly migrate without too much of a headache! (Notion database exports are quite lovely for this.)
Happy planning!
